ATS Engineers, Inspector & Surveyors recently attended the local American Institute of Architects (AIA) Summer Conference here in Austin. Jim Goes P.E., S.E., (ATS’ Structural Department Manager) talked with many design professionals about the engineering services ATS provides.

ATS Welcomes Chris HendersonWe are pleased to welcome Chris Henderson to our Survey department. Chris is a Texas Registered Land Surveyor in Training and will be taking his exam to become a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the near future. Chris has an extensive background in land surveying; bringing more than 8 years of experience. A central Texas native, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He stays busy chasing after his seven and five, year old children. We are happy to have Chris join the ATS family.

ATS Now Providing Services For Keene, Texas

Keene, TexasWe are pleased to announce that ATS Engineers, Inspectors & Surveyors is now providing third party plan review and inspection services for the city of Keene, Texas. ATS currently provides services to over 25 jurisdictions across central Texas. Keene is the most recent addition to our expanding, geographical service area.

ATS Donates Services to Operation Finally Home

Operation Finally Home provides mortgage-free homes to service members and their families who have been wounded, injured or become ill as a result of their service in the defense of our country. ATS donated professional inspection services for this project. The family was all smiles and tears as they took their first glimpse into their fully furnished home. We are honored to have been a part of this worthwhile endeavor.

ATS Welcomes Seth Wood as the New Business Services Coordinator

ATS Engineers, Inspectors & Surveyors (ATS) is pleased to introduce our new Business Services Coordinator. Seth Wood recently moved to this area after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Texas Tech University. He will be working with our Inspections department coordinating FHA and Contractor Draw inspections and reports. When not at work, Seth is an avid reader and loves to travel. We are excited to welcome Seth to ATS.

ATS partners with Bigelow Homes and Homes For Hope.

ATS is honored to be partnering with Bigelow Homes; providing donated inspection services for a home being built for Homes For Hope in Kyle, Texas. Homes For Hope is a non-profit 501 (c )(3) organization that works with builders and their trade partners, building homes to be sold in the U. S.. The homes’ net profits benefit HOPE International, an organization working in many of the world’s poorest places to help families escape poverty through business development. They offer microloans, savings services and business training to empower entrepreneurs to work their families out of poverty and into lives of hope and productivity.

ATS welcomes Darlene to the office staff.

ATS Engineers, Inspectors & Surveyors would like to introduce the newest member to our office staff. Darlene brings an exceptional eye for detail having spent many years in the medical field. She will be assisting our administration department with inspection scheduling, invoice procedures and overall customer service duties, as well as being the voice behind the phone call when clients call in needing professional services. Darlene’s passion in her free time is cooking and baking. She loves it so well she has a Facebook page called Darla’s Sweet Tooth . We are all bound to gain a few pounds from the scrumptious delicacies she brings in on a regular basis. We are pleased to welcome Darlene to the ATS family.

ATS Welcomes Steve Van Patten to the Inspections Department

ATS Welcomes Steve Van Patten to the Inspections DepartmentATS Engineers, Inspectors & Surveyors is happy to welcome Steve Van Patten to our Inspections department. Steve is an International Code Council (ICC) certified Building Official and holds several other ICC certifications. He most recently served as the City of San Marcos’ Chief Building Official. Steve brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and building code inspections industry. When he’s not working, Steve enjoys motorcycle riding, sailing and spending time with his family. We are pleased to have Steve join our ATS family.

ATS Welcomes Kenneth Lightle to the MEP Engineering Department.

Kenneth LightleATS Engineers, Inspectors and Surveyors welcomes Kenneth Lightle to the MEP Department. He is a graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor of Sciences in Industrial Technology and a minor in music. He is currently attending Austin Community College where he is pursuing an AutoCAD drafting certificate. Kenneth has spent 10 yrs in both semiconductor manufacturing and HOA property management. When not at work or school, Kenneth enjoys woodworking. Although he admits to making more sawdust then furniture. Welcome to the ATS team, Kenneth.
