Home Innovation Research Labs recently announced their 150,000th certified green building project; Hanover R.S. Construction’s Buckhead Village project. ATS’ own Dondi Atwell performed the required third-party verification inspections for the Hanover Buckhead Village, National Green Building Standard (NGBS) project in Atlanta, Georgia. Home Innovation Research Labs certifies compliance of residential projects with the NGBS; the only ANSI-approved consensus standard on green building. The NGBS provides verification that a home, apartment building, or land development is designed and built to achieve high performance in six key areas: Site Design, Resource Efficiency, Water Efficiency, Energy Efficiency, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Building Operation & Maintenance.
