CVF Homes has recently completed an Energy Star certified house in downtown San Antonio in the Lavaca Historic Neighborhood. The project achieved an Emerald level certification from the National Green Building Standard, the 79th home in the country and the 11th home in Texas to achieve such certification. It is the first Level 3 home certified by the Build San Antonio Green Program in an Historic Neighborhood and was featured in the 2012 San Antonio Green Home Tour, winning the 2012 City of San Antonio Green Building Award for new residential construction.
The ATS Energy Department provided energy testing and certification services for the project.
